The 51 edition of Festival dei Popoli - Festival Internazionale del Film Documentario- will take place in Florence from November 13 to 20, 2010, an event now included in the European Coordination of Cinema Festivals.
The Festival dei Popoli offers a broad panorama of documentaries, showing us the varied facets and its always renewed capacity to tell the story of reality, offering images of people and countries, portraits of men and women, stories coming from around the world.
In its long history, the Festival has seen on its own screens the best documentary production at an international level and has made known to its audience the most noted authors of the sector like Jean Rouch, Ken Loach, Vittorio de Seta, Fred Wiseman.
The exhibition will mainly develop in the Cinema Odeon Piazza degli Strozzi - Florence Others places of the festival will be the Cinema Stensen and the Cinema Spazio Uno all centrally located as Hotel Kursaal & Ausonia. So you can reach any event walking
