Some might think that it is organized for the many tourists who descend on the city for this occasion. Nothing could be more wrong! The Palio belongs to Sienese people DNA. I realised that to say that our hotel is located in the city centre is not enough and since this is a very common question I learned to better specify.Now I say that we are no more than 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the main train station of Santa Maria Novella in the district of San Lorenzo.
